Abstract

Acute respiratory failure in children is an urgent problem of modern emergency pediatrics. Their share in the structure of the primary incidence of children is about 60%. Obstructive respiratory disorders in children can depend on various causes and have a multilevel localization of the obstacle. Regardless of the cause and nature of the obstruction, acute and subacute airway obstruction is a dramatic clinical situation with rapidly increasing hypoxia, requiring emergency treatment. The article shows the features of clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods and treatment tactics for diseases associated with obstruction of the upper or lower respiratory tract in children. Emergency treatment of acute respiratory disorders in children is complex. The rational use of modern pharmacological drugs ensures the effectiveness of the treatment.
