Abstract
The aim of the study was to study microvasculature features of the dento-gingival complex in patients with periodontal disease at different stages of treatment after applying phytopreparations. 75 people participated in the study (35 men, 40 women) age from 25 to 44 years (mean age 31.5 ± 2.45 years), of which 15 people (7 men, 8 women) without periodontium pathology and 60 people 24 men, 36 women) with characteristic signs of inflammation in the periodontium. The algorithm of the study included the carrying out of therapeutic measures aimed at the elimination of inflammation in the periodontium, the patients of the main group were additionally supplemented with phytopreparations. The state of the microvasculature dento-gingival complex was determined in the area of the attached gingiva by means of ultrasonic high-frequency Doppler sonography. It was found that with gingivitis, there is an increase in the linear and volume velocities of the blood flow, and with parodontitis, these indicators decrease, this is due to the increase in inflammatory phenomena and the development of a collateral type of blood supply to periodontal tissues. As a result of the inclusion of modern phytopreparations in the complex treatment of patients with periodontal pathology within 10-14 days, normalization of linear and volume velocities of tissue blood flow in the microvasculature dento-gingival complex was registered, which is associated with the elimination of inflammation and the restoration of blood supply to periodontal tissues.
