According to world statistical findingsthe hypovolemic shock is a frequent, lethally dangerous complication of acutegastroenteritis and / or diarrhea in children. The main reason for high mortality among children population is late diagnosticsand irrational replacement of fluid losses. The variability of clinical picture urges to develop a clear algorithm for searching dehydration markers and techniquesfor proper replacement of fluid losses depending on the severity. An important instrumental tool forhypovolemia diagnostics in children is blood pressure control in every child with fluid loss. The starting therapy ofhypovolemic shock in children includes intravenous bolus saline infusion for the first hour with thefollowing medicamentoussupport depending on clinical and monitoring findings.
